Yoga classes

Yoga is a system of physical, mental, and breathing exercises, originating in India. Yoga has many varieties, but today the most common practice is hatha-yoga, which focuses on asanas, pranayama, and meditation. Yoga is recognized not only as an exercise system but also as a life philosophy.
Tricity has many yoga centers with qualified instructors. Here are a few of our recommendations:

Joga Park – Gdańsk Wrzeszcz

Perfect place to start practicing yoga with professional teachers. They have sessions for people at all levels of their yoga journey, AND, they have English speaking instructors too!

Szkoła Jogi Zofii Netter

This studio is run by an amazing lady who has learned and practiced yoga in India. She is multilingual and the cozy atmosphere allows you to relax and rejuvenate.

Zdrofit – the network of gyms

Zdrofit is a local network of gyms in the Tricity. You can take part in yoga classes in the early morning and also in the evening. Everything is in an intimate atmosphere. Remember to take your own mat.
During the quarantine, Zdrofit is offering online yoga classes.

Thinking of using the lockdown as an excuse? No way! Here are some options where you can join various online fitness communities.

PortalYogi.pl

Once you’ve signed up, You will get access to many videos with exercises for all levels. Other than that, you can also join many groups for support and group exercises.

Youtube

Youtube has many channels where you can learn yoga.
For Polish speakers we recommend: MMYoga of Małgorzata Mostowska, Ola Żelazo, and Anatomia Jogi.

For English speakers we recommend: Yoga with Adriene and Yoga with Kassandra. These channels also feature mindfulness and meditation videos.

Apps

Dedicated yoga apps allow you to design your own workout, practice poses and in some cases even get P2P feedback. All of this can be done at a location and time of your convenience.
A few apps we recommend are: Yoga on Gaia, Down Dog, and Keep Yoga – Yoga & meditation – Yogadaily Fitness; Meditation (Daily Fitness).

Stress Clinic

Do You feel that your stress levels are skyrocketing? Don’t stress about it! Check out the Stress Clinic in Gdansk. They hold sessions, where they work with you, to teach you how to manage your stress levels.

There are a lot of options for you to find the right option for you. But before you do that, we advise that you get out on your balcony or put on your masks and gloves and take a deep breath of the ocean or in the park and see if that helps. We are sure it will!
