Currently, over 16 thousand developers work in the Pomeranian Region. Tri-City has become a hub of conferences, workshops, and meetings (hackathons) related to IT. Tri-City is also home for InfoShare, the largest tech conference in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as regular meetings organized by 3camp and other conferences such as Scala Wave, 4Developers, Scandinavian IT Nights and Let’s Manage IT. Now it’s time for the fifth edition of the GET.NET conference.
The GET.NET conference is organized by Sii twice a year – in spring in Łódź and in autumn in Gdansk. This is the first initiative of its kind related to .NET technologies in Poland which permanently became a valuable event in the IT industry. On October 27th at the Amber Expo exhibition and congress center, you will be able to listen to presentations about Machine Learning in .NET, creating applications in Xamarin and serverless solutions.
The event is addressed to experienced programmers, testers, managers, IT students and enthusiasts of new technologies.
During the GET.NET 2018 11 participants from all over the world will share their knowledge. This year’s edition will host a keynote presentation of Rachel Appel from the US who will discuss accessible design and programming in action. Sławomir Aleksiuk who represents Sii will talk about adding real-time cooperation to the business application using SignalR. In turn, Yan Cui, coming to Gdańsk from the UK, will discuss security issues in the serverless world.
The GET.NET conference is also an opportunity to establish contacts with experts in new technologies from all over Poland. The organizer of the conference is Sii – a provider of IT services and industrial engineering in Poland. The Gdańsk branch of the company is located in the Olivia Business Center complex in Gdańsk Oliwa.
