“Pomeranian Voivodship – a perfect place for work, development and life”, this is the motto of the new promotional project of the Invest in Pomerania initiative. The aim of the multi-year information campaign under the banner “Live more. Pomerania “is to attract new employees to the region and retain those already established.
The campaign “Live more. Pomerania” will primarily use the website as a reliable source of information on work and life in Pomerania. Social media profiles will show the region’s greatest advantages from the perspective of the people. In addition, the organizers will prepare promotional materials that will be distributed at selected job fairs in Poland.
– “Live more. Pomerania” project is just starting, but today we invite you to visit the profile on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Creating a Polish-, English- and Russian-language website will take a few weeks. We want the portal to provide reliable information about the region in a comprehensive manner, responding to all possible questions that may arise at the time of decision to move – says Wojciech Tyborowski, Director of Invest in Pomerania . – The idea of creating such a place on the net came after conversations with many companies that reported that their potential employees did not know where they could learn about the region and often felt lost even after arriving.
– Pomerania is the third most popular region in Poland. Therefore, more and more people not only from our country want to move here – comments Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodship. – Moreover, the Pomeranian province has recently recorded excellent economic results, which justifies the decision to reside in Poland. Low unemployment at the level of 5.9 percent, the record number of 12 thousand job offers submitted by the Voivodeship Labor Office in August and the record number of declared jobs created by investors – confirm it is the right choice to live here.
Life, work and study
The Pomeranian Voivodship has been top ranked for the quality of life for years. According to research as many as 73.7% of people are satisfied with life in the region, and 86% of Tri-City residents consider their quality of life as high, which all together result in the best performance of this kind in Poland. Why? The inhabitants point to the natural qualities of the voivodeship (after all, not every region can boast of 316 km of coastline, 2901 lakes or 2000 km of cycling routes!), cultural events and festivals.
In recent years, the region has also become one of the strongest players in the IT market and modern business services, which opened up a unique career pathway for potential employees. Thanks to numerous investments of such companies as: Intel, Amazon, Lufthansa Systems, State Street and Swarovski), Tri-City labor market is very absorbent – the unemployment rate remains below the national average.

Information campaign “Live more. Pomerania “is one of the elements of the project” Invest in Pomerania 2020 “, financed by EU funds within the Regional Operational Program of the Pomeranian Voivodship for the years 2014-2020. The project is implemented by the Invest in Pomerania initiative and is coordinated by the Pomerania Development Agency and the Pomeranian Voivodship Government. As a result, over the past six years, 79 investment projects have been implemented, contributing to the creation of 12,000. jobs.
