Gdańska Szkoła Wyższa

GSW is an interdisciplinary university proud of its wide educational offer. The study programs are optimized for the job market. The university conducts first degree studies (BA and engineering studies), second degree (MA) studies and post-graduate studies. GSW branches also present in other cities in the region: Kartuzy, Tczew, Olsztyn, Słupsk and Koszalin. GSW educates its students within two faculties: the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. At the Faculty of Social Sciences, GSW offer faculties such as: Administration, Economics, Sociology, Pedagogy, International Relations, Artistic Education, Tourism and Recreation, Public Health as well as Criminology. The Faculty of Engineering Sciences also has a rich offer: Management and Production Engineering, Spatial Management, Landscape Architecture. Each of the courses allows a student to take up various specialties and develop with a focus on his or her own interests.

The university uses the Moodle platform and supports the traditional education path with variants of modern education and enables studying for people working in non-standard, shift work and abroad.

The new GSW campus, with an area of 0.9 ha, is an impressive 3-storey, restored historic barracks building (the whole object is enscripted in the register of objects of cultural heritage), fragmentedly surrounded by a historic wall, with two car parks. The campus is located at the top of Biskupia Górka, in the district of Gdańsk Śródmieście. For the sake of students' safety, the University area is closed and covered by 24-hour monitoring and security.
