The best students can also receive awards granted by officials of the Pomeranian Region, such as:

Ministry of Science and Higher Education Scholarship - granted for outstanding achievements that are highly significant or exceptionally innovative;

Marshal of the Pomeranian Region’s Scholarship - the criteria are: high average, outstanding accomplishments in science or arts, as well as a declaration of residence in the Pomeranian Region;

Mayor of the City of Gdańsk’s Scholarship - granted to the inhabitants of Gdańsk with a permanent residence for no less than 3 years, who study full-time at one of the universities in the Tri-City and can present achievements or exemplary work;

Mayor of the City of Sopot’s Scholarship - for school and university students demonstrating outstanding academic performance, as well as having sports or artistic achievements. Permanent residents of Sopot, as well as international students of Polish origin who study in the Tri-City are entitled to the scholarship;

Mayor of the City of Gdynia’s Scholarship - for school and university students demonstrating outstanding academic performance, as well as having sports or artistic achievements. Permanent residents of Gdynia, as well as Eastern adolescent students of Polish origin who go to school or university in the Tri-City are entitled to the scholarship;
