Summertime has come and that’s a perfect time to meet outside, have a stroll and explore! That’s why, within the series of our meetups, Live more. Pomerania invites you to join the sightseeing tour in the Old Town of Gdansk. That’s a perfect way to discover the history of the region and its most interesting spots.
The meetup will take place on 21st of July (Saturday), we will meet at 9.30 AM on the Green Bridge (pol. Zielony Most) near the Green Gate (pol. Zielona Brama) in the very center of Gdansk’s Old Town (at the end of Dluga Street): see the place on Google Maps. There will be a guide waiting for you – Elzbieta Trella – holding a card with the Live more. Pomerania logo on it. The sightseeing will last 2 hours and during it we will see:
The Motlawa River Embankment (pol. Długie Pobrzeże), the Crane (pol. Żuraw), the Royal Way (Droga Królewska): the Upland Gate (pol. Brama Wyżynna), Dluga Street, the Gdansk Town Hall (pol. Ratusz Głównego Miasta), the Artus Court (pol. Dwór Artusa), the Neptune’s Fountain (pol. Fontanna Neptuna), Złota Brama (the Golden Gate), the Great Armoury (pol. Wielka Zbrojownia), the Green Gate (pol. Zielona Brama), the St. Mary’s Church (pol. Bazylika Mariacka), Mariacka Street, (the Four Quarters Fountain (pol. Fontanna Czterech Kwartałów), the Royal Chapel (Kaplica Królewska) and other tourist attractions on the way as well as a short demonstration of amber polishing.
