The time has finally come to ease the pandemic restrictions! When we took off our masks again and the premises opened their gardens and interiors, in addition to a breath of fresh air, we can feel the breath of “old reality”. Taking advantage of the regained freedom, we present you several events worth attending in June. If you have heard about other interesting events, please let us know. June 1 – June 5
7th Student Theaters Festival – START
We invite you to a cyclical event organized by the Association of International Cultural Initiatives. The festival has been organized since 2014. It is attended by student theaters from non-artistic universities from all over Poland. START supports the creativity of students who are not related to art academies and deal with theater in their spare time.
June 9 – June 27
Restaurant Week
It might seem that it’s a week, but this year’s festival will last practically a month. Almost 400 restaurants from 14 regions will take part in this culinary event. The spring edition will be held under the slogan “GO! For the bestsellers of the best restaurants ”. Festival participants will be able to try dishes from the country and the world, served by top chefs. The reservations are already underway and the number of seats is restricted by sanitary regulations, so don’t wait too long!

Sea Festival 2021

Another event that we recommend to your attention is the Gdynia Sea Festival. It is a series of maritime events organized for residents and tourists in Gdynia’s open-air locations. We will meet again in places characteristic for the city, such as: Kościuszko Square, Śródmieście beach, Muszla on Plac Grunwaldzki, Aleja Żeglarstwa Polskiego or Gdynia Film Center. The events will also be made available online.

Breaking the Guinness World Record in a Palant – 24h marathon

Pomerania has a chance to enter the Guinness Book of Records again. This time it will be an attempt to beat the record continuous game of Palant (en. A game of jerk). This sport game has a strong relationship with Polish cultural identity, which is why we are convinced that it is worth continuing. This well-deserved, traditional Polish sport is a source of a good opportunity to promote physical activity in society through fun. Playing Palanta allows you to develop active leisure habits and is a great source of integration of local communities.

Summer begins in Gdynia

For over 10 years, Pomerania has welcomed summer during Cudawianki – a festival of music and culture on the Gdynia beach. This time, the festival will be held under the name of Lato, it starts in #Gdynia. We cordially invite you to a two-day outdoor event, during which you will be able to actively relax, looking for the first rays of the holiday sun. What more do you need to be happy?

Another event for fans of good food. We eat at the Stadium – The Great Foodtruck Rally will be held at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk Stadium! A wide range of dishes from around the world awaits us, prepared for us by foodtruckers – culinary enthusiasts who buy the hearts of people from all over Poland with their love for the kitchen!
