Tri-City Attractions for Foreigners – What’s There to Do If You Don’t Know Polish

When our foreign friends visit Tri-City, we feel obliged to show them around the most interesting places and monuments. Fontanna Neptuna (Neptune’s Fountain), the historic Długi Targ (Long Market), the Sopot pier, the cliff in Gdynia, the Błyskawica (Lightning) ship and the Dar Pomorza (Gift of Pomerania) sailing ship are key points of trips. However, what can we do if our guests have already seen these popular Tri-City attractions and are thirsty for more?

Performances with English Supertitles

Teatr Muzyczny im. Danuty Baduszkowej (Danuta Baduszkowa’s Musical Theatre) in Gdynia is the largest musical theatre in Poland. It would be a sin not to visit this pride of Pomerania. It organises many events such as concerts, galas, exhibitions and theatrical performances and uses modern audio-visual, acoustic and lighting equipment. Visitors from abroad might be particularly interested in Wiedźmin (The Witcher) – the first musical based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel with English supertitles. The performance also uses amazing pyrotechnics.

Polish Films with English Subtitles

In addition to the entertainments and cultural events listed above, it is worth to visit Tri-City cinemas which screen film classics with English subtitles (among others the Helios cinema chain, Kino Studyjne or Multikino).
